COACHING

As an actor with specialized training in voice work, I am able to offer comprehensive, individualized, and specific training to help you pursue your goals. Whether you are looking for help with material choice, audition prep, breathing new life into your old pieces, finding confidence to take vocal risks, or simply just to have a place to play, I look forward to helping you find, unlock, and surpass your potential as an artist.
ABOUT ME:
I have been teaching and coaching for 10 years. I began in NYC as a teaching artist, and worked with companies like Broadway Classroom, Periwinkle Theater for Youth, Inside Broadway, and The Story Pirates. I was on the theater conservatory staff, teaching Acting and Voice and Speech at the Chicago High School for the Arts from 2014-18, and have served as a teaching artist at Playmakers Laboratory, The Voila Project, and Chicago Youth Shakespeare in Chicago, IL.
I hold a BFA in Acting from Syracuse University, and MFA in Acting from Indiana University where I taught Voice and Speech undergraduate classes. During that time I worked with many individual students on everything from dialects to breath support, including being the Voice Coach for the student run production company University Players.
I have taught audition workshops at Indiana University and Cardinal Stage in Bloomington, Indiana, where I also did private coaching as well as dialect coaching and voice work for whole productions. I was the voice teacher for The Midsummer Theatre Camp for 2 years running.
I have taught all ages from kindergarten to post graduates, and offer services for non actors as well. Private coaching students have gone on to be accepted into performance programs at Millikin University, Stella Adler Academy of Acting, and Berklee College of Music.
